Latest Update
September 22, 2017
Our students learned about the intersection of math and art, created self-portraits, and studied famous artists. We created art as families at Family Art Night. We went on field trips and used art to learn about science. The students danced, drummed, sung, and played musical instruments throughout the halls of Wasatch.
How to Donate to a Particular Grade
1. Click on a Grade above in the scroll bar or click on the Roster tab and choose a Grade. You can also choose the Grade during checkout.
2. Click the Contribute button and type in your amount and click to Pay.
How do I donate to more than one Grade? Repeat steps 1 & 2 for every Grade's page in which you want to donate. They will be separate transactions.
How Much Do I Give?
Any amount makes a difference. Can you give $5, $25, $100, $500 or even $1,000? You choose the amount and you'll get our heartfelt thank you and a tax receipt as the Wasatch PTA is a 501c3 nonprofit foundation.
The funds raised go to guest artists, arts supplies, props for drama productions, art specialists' salaries, and arts-based field trips. Our general school budget doesn’t cover the $150 per student needed to support this program - that's $56,000 a year.
New This Year
Instead of students selling products like cookie dough or wrapping paper — and only getting 50% or less of the funds — we’re crowdfunding, and asking as many supporters as we can to join our arts community and donate online. We receive 97% of the money raised!
Why is This Fundraiser Important?
Wasatch Elementary's most defining feature is our focus on an arts-integrated curriculum. Dance, music, drama and the visual arts all play a part in our students' overall learning and academic achievement.

Dear Wasatch Elementary Donor:Big news! We just launched our annual fall fundraiser.Last year you were part of an amazing effort to help raise over $40,000, representing 440 donations from 30 states! The money we raised had a huge effect in 2016/17.
Our students learned about the intersection of math and art, created self-portraits, and studied famous artists. We created art as families at Family Art Night. We went on field trips and used art to learn about science. The students danced, drummed, sung, and played musical instruments throughout the halls of Wasatch.
Every student who tried out for the school play was able to participate, because even though twice the number of students auditioned as in years past, we had the funds to increase the play budget. You made a difference!
We are grateful for your help and are graciously asking for your support again this year.Donations, which are tax deductible, can be made through our fundraiser on RallyMe at https://schools.rallyme.com/rallies/9291Please share our fundraiser with friends and family!Thank you,Wasatch Elementary PTA -
Dear Donors,
We just wanted to take a few minutes to thank you once again for your generosity and to update you on how your donation to our fall fundraiser is creating a thriving school-wide arts community.
This year students have learned about the intersection of math and art, created self-portraits, and studied famous artists. We've created art as families at Family Art Night. Every student who tried out for the school play will be able to participate, because even though twice the number of students auditioned as in years past, we had the funds to increase the play budget.
We've gone on field trips and used art to learn about science. The students have danced, drummed, sung, and played musical instruments. Art has invaded every corner of our school, and walking the hallways is a joyful experience.
There are more exciting art opportunities in the next couple of months. If you would like to see Wasatch Arts in action please join us at the following events:
- Wasatch School Musical - Dr. Suess on the Loose - Friday, April 7, 7:00 pm;
- Arts Showcase, Friday, May 19, 5:30 pm.
Thank you again for supporting the Arts at Wasatch. We're lucky to have you in our corner.

Dear Donors: We did it!We far exceeded our original goal of $25,000. The $43,000 raised will go to sponsoring guest artists, paying for arts supplies, props for drama productions, art specialists' salaries, and arts-based field trips. Our general school budget doesn’t cover the $150 per student needed to support this program - that's $56,000 a year.We all know and love everything the Arts Program brings to Wasatch Elementary. All of our students benefit from the fact that the arts are integrated into every aspect of learning. Thanks to all of you, and your commitment to our community, this is going to continue far into the future.Thank you again for all the emailing, sharing, and contributing! Please enjoy this special video we made for ALL OF YOU!

Dear Wasatch Elementary supporters: This is the last day for our fall fundraiser! We have already exceeded our initial online goal and so far have raised over $40,000 from donors in 29 states. That is thanks to you!
It costs $56,000 to pay for the full arts program at Wasatch each year - that's $150 per student and raising this money now means the less we have to raise the rest of the school year.
Our Grades are still vying to win a class party in two Categories: 1. Most Money Raised, and 2. Most # of Contributions. It's a tight race!
THANK YOU FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE. The online fundraiser will conclude at midnight tonight - please share!:

Dear Wasatch Elementary supporters: We are overwhelmed with gratitude! Thanks to the huge support, matching funds, and many requests - we increased our online fundraising goal amount to $30,000 - and the response has been amazing - we're nearly there. This is so important because the more money we raise now means the less we have to raise the rest of the school year!
It costs $56,000 to pay for the full arts program at Wasatch each year - that's $150 per student.
We have just one week left in our fundraiser and if the response continues, we'll be able to increase our goal again. Please share our fundraiser link - any amount makes a difference.

Dear Wasatch Elementry Supporters: WOW! Thank you so much for your generous donations. In less than a week we have raised $13,300 from 110 contributions toward our $25,000 goal to keep the arts program thriving at Wasatch. The momentum is great - let's keep it going!
Our other goal is 100% participation from all families at Wasatch - through a direct donation online (any amount!) and by helping promote the campaign. Please encourage your fellow parents to take part and share with grandparents, aunts/uncles, neighbors: DONATE at WasatchPTA.comWe only have 16 days left to reach our goal!
